The place is always nice and we had a nice evening there, it really blew us away. Great cost-performance ratio. The staff has worked quickly, cleanly and in a friendly manner. Find the inn suitable for all occasions, whether with mates, friends or family.

Great restaurant that has a big city flair with its high walls and large room (feels like New York or London), has a very attentive / friendly staff and offers an excellent menu (food and wine). The cuisine is a mix of local and international classics and the portions are enough to fill you up. The prices are high even by Frankfurt standards, but they are reasonable. I can recommend this restaurant for business dinners, but also for visits with family / friends and also for discerning gourmets who may not have tried this restaurant yet.

Lovely! Wonderful ambience and sensational food

After the 6 month lockdown, our first visit today: Chapeau !! The operators used the time for an extremely tasteful renovation. The interior now has an English club atmosphere. The light gray paint makes the rooms appear less high and very cozy. The attentive, but always unobtrusive service provides competent advice, is present but reluctant to refill the glasses. We had a celery foam soup that is hard to find at "conviniece times": finely seasoned with a slightly creamy consistency .. with the right amount of cream ... It tasted so good that it should have been one more spoon ... from new deep design plates ... For the main course a saddle of venison from Thuringia - comme il faut - roasted pink in delicious Red wine cherry sauce ... excellent And an Angus fillet tender pink a point in excellent quality ... The wine selection is dignified and fairly priced in this context - we had a red Italian from Puglia for 49 euros, which was definitely worth the price. A very nice ambience, excellent cuisine and fair priced wines, parking lot at the house ... a restaurant that I would absolutely recommend to the discerning guest (not the bargain hunter and normal consumer).

We have been guests of the Goldmund for many years and were curious to see how the restaurant would start out of lockdown after the renovation. Lo and behold, the restart was phenomenal. The large dining room is now more open with warm, but not overwhelming tones. The big pictures stayed because they still fit into the new concept. You should definitely take a look at the second hall with a cozy fireplace corner, which can also be used for meals or events with up to 30 people. The service of the owners is still friendly to informal - personal but not intrusive. If the waiter Moe returned it would be perfect. ;-) The kitchen is a touch better than before. The quality of the food is excellent and the workmanship, as well as the presentation, are on star level. The Black Angus fillet was ultra-tender and has no equal, but the fine saddle of venison was also very tasty. It's good that you stayed with Gorilla Coffee, a high-quality regional roastery. In the evening and on the weekend you should definitely make a reservation.

Nice rest aunt with nice and personable staff. Very noble and delicious food. It is possible to order a fixed course menu or to put it together yourself. The Goldmund is definitely recommended for a special occasion.

Great atmosphere, a cuisine close to excellent, but what was really special for this evening at the Goldmund was the service: attentive, humorous, yet authentic - we felt very comfortable and welcome. THAT makes for a great evening for us, we would love to come back!

From my point of view, a visit here is absolutely to be recommended. The staff worked quickly, neatly and nicely. The decoration on the seats and in the entire restaurant makes sense and is stylish. The toilets are always clean and all in all the restaurant gives a harmonious impression. Quite perfect to be able to eat a dessert afterwards.

We had a menu for the wedding day. Service was very good, prices reasonable, nice atmosphere and the food was fine. Only the toilets, which were outside the restaurant, I found not so great, not dirty, but somehow a bit shabby. Did not fit the ambience. But overall a very nice evening.

Very good food. The fish soup was excellent, as were all the mains. There were four of us, and we all tasted very good. In the wine after-tank it has something gehapert, because the glass was often too long empty. Otherwise very friendly service!

Great three course meal for a fair price. The waiters looked a bit confused when we got into normal leisure clothes and not in the suit. That did not really settle until the end. But that did not bother us.

Good things first - this is a well located neatly presented above average restaurant with great tasting food, nice display of it and great value for money. The service was partly very good, partly a bit strange, therefore I tend to give 4/5. Honestly speaking we have been a little bit underdressed when showing up there in jeans and jersey. It might therefore also be partly our fault but the waiter was a bit condescending towards us. People in there tend to wear dining wardrobe but nevertheless I think the time when we could judge people from the looks only should be over :) So if you look for that neat place where you dont mind to put on your better suit to blend with the mass, have a fine diner maybe after a lecture this is definitely a greatchoice. If you dont care too much about having fine cloths you either prepare for being stared at or choose another place :P

Omg. Perfect meal, atmosfere and service. Wine is sweet, salad and veel perfect. Love it here.

Came to the restaurant around 9 pm, the waiter told me no indoor tables for this time (although I could see some), and also no food as the kitchen was closed. Only drinks available. I didn't feel good for the treatment so I went to another restaurant .
